Fuzzy Clouds & Clear Skies

Thoughts about anxiety, self confidence, and how I'm learning to find my inner-happy.

A Daily Mantra – Choosing Happy.

I often think about prayers, mantras, poems, affirmations … to me, they are all the same in a way. They are all words that you speak to a greater power than yourself to express a wish or a hope.

To me, while a prayer can be a religious process, for me, it’s not – it’s just how I describe talking to the universe and expressing my wishes out loud, affirming what my heart and soul want.

I am a firm believer in the law of attraction, and to that end, I wanted to create a prayer or poem to start each day with the right intention. Something catchy that I could memorize and recite when I wake up, to set the tone of my day. It’s part of the new, healthy habits that I’m creating for myself.

Here’s the one I use now daily, the short version anyway!

Choosing Happy

Today I’m choosing happy.
Because it’s up to me.
I take the time to take a breath
Or maybe two or three.

*deep breath*
Inhale
….1
….2
Exhale
….1
….2

Today I live in the moment
Because it’s up to me
No worries ’bout tomorrow
As what will be will be

Today I’m choosing awesome
Because that’s how I feel.
I celebrate successes
And spread love around me

Today I’m choosing happy.
Because it’s up to me.
I take the time to take a breath
Or maybe two or three.

*deep breath*
Inhale
….1
….2
Exhale
….1
….2

* repeat breaths as needed. If you feel you don’t have time to take deep breaths, take more of them! 😉

( Note: This is the short version – a longer one will be posted soon! )

I will post some of these from time to time, as I do enjoy writing poetry and I just loooooove a good rhyme. I can’t help it. It’s catchy. I find it’s a great way to recite happy thoughts to yourself and to the universe. I believe in the power of affirmations, so why not throw them in a poem, right? It’s great!!!!

More on the law of attraction and affirmations in future posts – trust me, I can’t get enough of that topic. Til then, my friends and readers alike, hope you enjoyed the post. And live your best today.

Remember; beyond the fuzzyclouds, there’s always clear skies.

Love, MarMar
